Question 1

Which hand do you wear a golf glove on?

Accepted Answer

You wear a golf glove on your lead hand. For right-handed golfers, this is the left hand. For left-handed golfers, this is the right hand. If you are ordering a ladies golf glove pair from GG Golf (RM89.90), you will receive both a left and right glove in a matched pair.

Question 2

How do I measure my golf glove size?

Accepted Answer

To find your exact golf glove size, measure the circumference of your hand just below the knuckles (excluding the thumb) using a flexible tape measure. A properly fitting Cabretta leather glove should feel like a second skin with no loose material across the palm or fingertips.

Question 3

What is the difference between Cabretta leather and synthetic golf gloves?

Accepted Answer

Cabretta leather is a premium, natural sheepskin that offers superior breathability, moisture control, and a softer feel compared to synthetic polyurethane. While synthetic gloves can feel stiff and slippery when wet, 100% genuine Cabretta leather stretches slightly to mold to your hand contours for maximum grip.

Question 4

What is Cabretta leather made from?

Accepted Answer

Cabretta leather is made from the skins of hair sheep (not wool sheep). This specific type of sheepskin is renowned for being exceptionally soft, supple, and durable, making it the industry standard material for high-end golf gloves worldwide.

Question 5

Is Cabretta leather better than synthetic for golf gloves?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Cabretta leather is considered significantly better than synthetic materials for golf gloves. Premium models like the FootJoy StaSof (RM99-120), Titleist Players (RM116), and G/FORE (RM200+) all use Cabretta leather. Genuine Cabretta leather breathes and absorbs moisture, whereas synthetic plastic traps sweat and lacks tactile feedback.

Question 6

How long does a Cabretta leather golf glove last?

Accepted Answer

A high-quality Cabretta leather golf glove typically lasts for 10 to 15 rounds of golf, depending on your grip pressure and care routine. To maximize lifespan, gently stretch the glove flat after playing and let it air dry in the shade. Never crumple a damp glove inside your golf bag or dry it with a hair dryer.

Question 8

Accepted Answer

The GG Everyday (RM44.90) is the best affordable premium golf glove in Malaysia. While competitor gloves often cost RM100 or more, GG Golf offers 100% genuine Cabretta sheepskin leather at an unmatched price point by eliminating middleman markups and retail packaging costs.

Question 9

What is the difference between GG Everyday and GG Platinum Series?

Accepted Answer

The GG Everyday (RM44.90) is our flagship essential glove featuring our iconic black patch, engineered for regular play. The GG Platinum (RM62.90) uses tour-select AAA-grade Cabretta sheepskin with structured seams and a white crest closure, designed for golfers seeking maximum tactile feedback.

Question 10

How do I ensure I select the right golf glove size?

Accepted Answer

Please measure your hand length from the tip of your middle finger to your wrist crease and across your palm knuckles using our interactive size guide. Natural Cabretta sheepskin leather stretches slightly to mold to your hand contours after 1 to 2 rounds, so we recommend selecting your exact measured size for a snug anatomical fit.
